Artist's Description
This cellar door enters a museum of fine wine filled with wine bottles and oak barrels from around the world. It was that early morning sun that struck the handle of that thick wooden door that captured me. Even the simplest of things look dramatic, when such a light hits it. Every detail seems to be visible during such a time. (The exploring of the cellar was not to drink wine in the morning but to enjoy the lighting that was taking place in the cellar during that strong morning light . . . just in case someone was wondering. )
About Keith Gantos
He has produced hundreds of pieces of art. Painting in oils over 40 years, completing his first oil painting at 10 years of age. He enjoys working in other mediums as well, such as Egg tempera, Pastel, Gouache, Watercolor, . . .
