This has a story. My wife and I were visiting in Portland, Maine when a storm came. The name of the painting comes from the actual wind that tore a shingle off the lighthouse. We kept that shingle for years. While capturing this dramatic event, the lighthouse keepers little girl was watching through the window, and she waved to us with a smile, while we were fighting the rain and wind.
About Keith Gantos
He has produced hundreds of pieces of art. Painting in oils over 40 years, completing his first oil painting at 10 years of age. He enjoys working in other mediums as well, such as Egg tempera, Pastel, Gouache, Watercolor, . . .
