This is in the old Rockingham Meeting house, in Rockingham VT. What a history, the well worn stair treads, the musty smell of years gone by. The light coming through the window was changing - as the sun rose the light descended down the stairs.
About Keith Gantos
He has produced hundreds of pieces of art. Painting in oils over 40 years, completing his first oil painting at 10 years of age. Keith, another masterpiece. You certainly know how to capture a feeling in your paintings. As the former owner of an old farm, complete with granary, I know exactly what this place smells like. It looks like our old place in North Lancaster, Ontario.....except that our stairs were not quite in such good condition. Your paintings are like 'time capsules'. recording history before it passes away.
