Artist's Description

These columns were constructed in 1900 and 100 years later- 2000 - i was walking in Balboa Park in San diego and decided to capture those strong shadows on the corinthian cloumns. I had to fly out to California that year because my dear mother died tragically. It was a very difficult time in my life and i remenber when we walked this promenade with her some years ago.
